The Black Economic Council And The Black Voice
The Black Economic Council and the Black Voice filed comments with the FCC January 21, 2010 on the National Broadband Plan.  Comments filed express the fact that the "Black Voice" has been inadequately represented historically before the FCC.   The Black Economic Council and The Black Voice are working together to fill this vacuum on behalf of the American community that is last in broadband, the Black community.
The Black Economic Council will be filing additional comments with the FCC related to net neutrality and the public interest, supporting greater minority media ownership, weighing in on the Comcast / NBC Universal acquisition and urging that corporate responsibility to underserved communities be part of the FCC's DNA and eventually part of the DNA of all institutions subject to FCC jurisdiction.
