The Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa located in Dana Point, CA, unveils its newly-renovated spa facilities to its guests with fresh, all-natural and organic offerings. Expertly led by designer George Bernal of George Bernal Custom Made, the Spa at Laguna Cliffs received a cosmetic remodel by up-cycling and repurposing existing features to retain natural beauty, promote "green" initiatives, and reduce unnecessary waste. The features that have been repurposed include: new laminate on existing lockers, beautiful reframing on existing mirrors, re-stained wood features and frosted glass shelving to imitate sea glass. Other environmentally-friendly additions include: the usage of reclaimed wood art installations throughout the spa, custom lighting sconces with mosaic glass and reclaimed wood, and mother-of-pearl spa alcoves. In addition to the "greenovation," the spa is now offering the organic lines of Eminence Organic Skin Care and Body Bliss products. Guests can now experience a "Do Organic, Be Organic, and Live Organic" concept where they can immerse themselves in completely natural treatments nourishing the body from inside out. These treatments and cuisine pairings are offered seasonally and feature locally-sourced ingredients for an experience indigenous to Orange County.
