Hotel Maya Debuts 'Playa At The Maya', An Urban Beach Escape At The Water's Edge

Hotel Maya – a DoubleTree by Hilton recently debuted the largest man-made beach in Long Beach with its 6,500-sq. ft. “Playa at the Maya.” The resort-style, urban beach is centered on the property’s 14 lush acres that are dotted with 500 palm trees and features 285 tons of real sand, two 4-ft. diameter fire pits, colorful umbrellas, comfortable chaise lounges and a cozy day bed.

Playa at the Maya is also Southern California’s premier seaside location for weekend getaways, weddings, luaus, private parties and a variety of special events.
