TheInternational Federation of Black Bass Anglers (IFBBA) will hold its Western Open Black Bass Buddy Fishing Tournament on March 25-26, 2011 at Clear Lake-Lakeport, California. The event will be headquartered at Konocti Vista Casino Resort, with a pre-tournament meeting taking place on March 24 at 5:00 pm.

According to IFBBA’s Arthur Bronson, who says everyone is welcome to participate, the “Open Buddy” tournament format means you can bring your own male or female buddy partner to join in the competition and fun. Entry fee for the tournament is $400 per team, and includes Big Bass Pot, IFBBA membership dues, and discounted subscription from Bass Anglers Magazine.

The first place prize is $10,000 (payout for 10 places and Big Bass Pot $1,000 each day) and is based upon a 100-team field. All entries must be postmarked by March 1, 2011, with $100 late fee charged after that date – cash only!
