Wachovia Sponsors Baltimores' Artscape 2011

Wachovia
, a Wells Fargo Company, was proud to bank on Baltimore recently, serving as a second-time sponsor of the mainstage at “Artscape” 2011, held July 15 – 17 at Mount Royal Avenue & Cathedral Street. The 30 year-old event has distinguished itself as the nation’s largest free arts and music festival. “Artscape” attracts over 350,000 attendees each year, and showcases more than 150 artists from the arenas of fashion, film, music, dance and the crafts. As sponsor of the mainstage, Wells Fargo supported headlining acts including, “American Idol” alumnus Fantasia, blues artist G Love & Special Sauce, reggae/hip-hop performer Matisyahu and a stellar lineup of 40 local musical acts. Wells Fargo additionally staffed a booth near the stage at the festival where attendees were able to speak with company professionals regarding their financial concerns, and obtain Wells Fargo Get Hands On event kits. Get Hands On provides useful tips about financial education, and the company’s array of products and services.
