Badgetec has expanded its new line of printable laser/inkjet sheets that produce complete badgetag for business events, meetings and socials.  With these new diecut laser sheets, individual design shapes for printable nametags can be selected by the person as they sign-in.   This provides each guest with a personalized nametag with their name (or event) for personal introductions and their own "fashion" expression.  Because shaped nametags can be round or any other shapes, they surpass the older rectangular "name badges" for appeal and attractiveness.  They are lightweight (no plastic holders), clothing-safe (no pins-no holes) and can be clipped-on to one's garment in any orientation (because they swivel).

The new printable sheets of nametag eliminate traditional adhesives, pins and plastic holders with the use of several new plastic clips that safely attach to ones garment.  The Contour Clip ® uses two flat fingers (similar to a paper-clip) that clamp over the edge of the fabric (collar, lapel, pocket, etc.).  The nametag itself has a slot that is secured over a round post on the clip, allowing the nametag to swivel and be attached in any orientation.  Being the first new clothing attachment is almost 100 years, the Contour Clip® replaces older pin and adhesive labels developed when the only fabrics were wool and cotton.

Depending on how they are used, shaped nametags can provide more information than just ones name by printing attractive graphics, QR Codes or even advertising designs on both the front and back of the nametag.  This can facilitate mobile media recording of contact information that is so essential during face-to-face events.   Without a plastic or metal holder, the new nametags are featherweight, inexpensive and easy-to-wear near eye-level.  Also, there are no light reflections to confuse Smart Phone cameras and barcode scanners.

Shaped nametags in diecut sheets are standard 8.5x11" with slots punched at the top of each nametag for attaching the clip.  These standard size sheets can be printed using Microsoft Word (AVERY®) templates on most office laser/inkjet printers.  One then simply separates it from the sheet and hands them to the guest.
