LA MAYOR, KAREN BASS ADDRESSES GROUP IN ICONIC LOCATION


Mayor Bass makes presentation at chamber event

At a recent gathering of African-American business owners and community leaders, hosted by the Regional Cal Black Chamber of Commerce SFV and Los Angeles 9th Council District City Councilmember, the Honorable Curren D. Price Jr., Los Angeles Mayor, Karen Bass acknowledged the outstanding service of Southern California entrepreneurs receiving the  RCBCC SFV Stewardship Impact Awards. 

Representing the businesses honored with the 2026 coveted Stewardship Impact Awards for distinguished service and extraordinary accomplishments were:

  ·      Dr. Royce Esters, NAEJA – National Association for Equal Justice
  ·      Dr. T Gordon, SHE READY FOUNDATION

The awards were presented by event sponsors as United Community Partners of the RCBCC Chamber SFV , including: Delphine Pruitt, Vice President, U.S. Bank, Andrienne Sears, Director, Charter Communications, Victor Fakrogha, Sr. Vice-President , Community West Bank, and Martin Guerrero, Director of Technology, Square Inc.

The Stewardship Impact Awards presentation was held in a grand setting in the iconic Tom Bradley Room located in the Bradley Tower at LA City Hall. The Mayor Tom Bradley Room is a stately event space and conference area located on the 27th floor of Los Angeles City Hall. Tom Bradley was Los Angeles' first Black mayor, and longest serving mayor.

This exceptionally elegant room is surrounded by the Tom Bradley Observation Deck that offers visitors and attendees of ceremonies and celebratory occasions, sweeping, 360-degree panoramic views of the city.

The Mayor Tom Bradley Room and Observation Tower is highly visited by tourists from around the world, it provides a stunning, yet comfortable, location for a meeting place and special events.

Because the Tom Bradley Room is frequently used for official civic functions and private rentals, it is recommended to call ahead or check the Los Angeles  City Hall  information line to ensure the observation deck is not closed for a private activity on the day of your visit.

The building was built in 1928 and it was the tallest in Los Angeles for 36 years. Seeing this magnificent venue is considered one of the best FREE things to do in 

Los Angeles!
