Two Industry Veterans Return To Visit San Antonio's Powerhouse Salesforce Visit San Antonio announces that two convention sales professionals return to the organization as the DMO strengthens its team to continue to build this important sector of the hospitality industry in the Alamo City. Summer Davey Summer Davey will rejoin Visit San Antonio effective September 29 as Director of Citywide Sales, bringing nearly three decades of convention sales leadership back to her professional home. She will continue to be based in Washington, D.C. Davey's impact was formidable at Visit San Antonio for more than 17 years as Director of Mid-Atlantic Sales and Assistant Director of Sales. Most recently, she served as Regional Account Executive for the Mid-Atlantic Region at New Orleans & Company, where over the past two years she played a pivotal role in driving convention business and growth in key East Coast markets. With Davey's extensive experience in strategic convention and partnership development, her return signals a renewed commitment to elevating San Antonio's presence on the national convention stage. Alysia Roden Visit San Antonio is delighted to announce that Alysia Roden, previously Vice President of Sales at Visit Austin, re-joind the Alamo City's team in September. With over two decades of distinguished experience in tourism and destination sales, Roden brings a deep understanding of the San Antonio market and longstanding relationships built during her tenure here. Roden was with Visit San Antonio for 14 years, advancing through roles of National Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Associate Director, and Director of Sales. Her certifications as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM), coupled with her active leadership on the board of the Texas Society of Association Executives, underscore her dedication to excellence and industry leadership.
