The award-winning NEW Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame is listed as one of the Nation's top Black Music Monuments to visit (Blavity Magazine). The one-of-a-kind futuristic outdoor interactive music technology park was founded by former Ohio Legislative Black Caucus President,
Alicia Reece, who has served as the Assistant Deputy Director of Ohio Tourism and is currently an elected Hamilton County Ohio Commissioner.

The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame site was once just an empty lot filled with rocks located along the Ohio River and across from the NFL Paycor tadium. Commissioner Reece's vision transformed the site into the $24 million Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame-an attraction focused on technology, education, tourism, economic development, and the musical legacy of Black artists, songwriters, and musicians. It honors those who have impacted music worldwide and who are from Ohio or played a significant role in shaping the state's music legacy. The result is an award-winning, family friendly experience that blends history and technology. Through immersive exhibits and augmented reality, visitors can scan QR codes to dive deeper into the legacies of inductees, dance to famous Cincinnati beats, or even perform virtually alongside music legends.

The public/private partnership includes awarding four stars per year sponsored by Procter and Gamble during a special, free induction ceremony attended by thousands during the weekend of The Cincinnati Music Festival. Inductees include: William "Bootsy" Collins, The Isley Brothers, Otis Williams and the Charms, Dr Charles Fold, Wilbert Longmire, Penny Ford, Midnight Star, Hi-Tek, The Deele, Philippe Wynne, Louis Shropshire, James Brown, Zapp & Roger, Shirley Murdock, Randy Crawford, Donald Lawrence, The O'Jays, Nancy Wilson, The Ohio Players and Dottie Peoples.
The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame has been featured in Essence, VIBE, Billboard, Blavity and on BET. In just over two years of being open it has had over 300,000 visitors including Jason E Dunn Sr, CEO of the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals and it has become a must see on your visit to Cincinnati.
