NATIONAL COALITION OF BLACK MEETING PROFESSIONALS 2025 CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

The National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) invites you to submit innovative presentations for our 42nd Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon November 19-22, 2025. This year, there are two submission opportunities, the general 50-minute track or the exclusive 90-minute track.

50-minute Presentation

The 50-minute educational track should be centered around relevant topics that speak to Empowerment, Innovation and Action.

90-minute Presentation

The 90-minute educational track, exclusively designed for Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP) must fall under the following categories: 

·      Event Design (Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity)

·      Risk Assessment & Mitigation

·      Sustainability & Social Impact

·      Preparedness and Strategic Planning 

Submission Guidelines 

Please check spelling, word count, and conformance with these guidelines.

·      Session proposals should describe original work.

·      More than one proposal may be submitted (separately),even if they are 50 or 90 minute entries of the same session.

·      Presentation description is limited to 1000 characters.

·      Sessions must be presented in a 50 or 90 minute format.

·      All presentations must be submitted by May 16, 2025 @11:59 pm  ET via the form and link provided. Emailed proposals will not be accepted. 

After You Submit

The NCBMP team will review, select and approve relevant session dates and times.   If your proposal is selected, you will be notified in writing of your confirmed session date and time. Chosen speakers will receive complimentary conference registration and access to select activations.
