If you will be in Los Angeles during the first week of August this year, here is an event you won't want to miss. Los Angeles Alumnae, Sigma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. invites you to a special night out on the town on August 3 ^rd, 2025 for *Some Like It Hot* at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. The "Some Like It Hot" musical is a stage adaptation of the classic 1959 film by the same name. The performance features a live on-stage jazz band and vibrant 1930s-inspired set and costume design. Showtime is 6 pm and those who purchase with the special QR code will receive discount tickets. This is slated to be a truly phenomenal show with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Sigma Sigma Scholarship fund. You're also encouraged to dress up 1940's style attire! The Hollywood Pantages Theatre has become one of the greatest landmarks of Hollywood, signifying both the "glorious past and adventuresome future of the world's entertainment capital." As a popular visitor attraction, celebrating its 95th anniversary, this historic venue is in the heart of Hollywood, on Hollywood Boulevard, right down the block from Vine Street. A member of the renown "DIVINE NINE", Sigma Gamma Rho is a national collegiate sorority incorporated in 1922. Over the years, Sigma Gamma Rho has served as a home for thousands of collegiate and professional women looking for a place to share inspiring life experiences, learn new things, conquer life challenges, thrive in society, and uplift the community through sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
