VISIT MILWAUKEE HIRES MEISHA BRIDGES AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

VISIT Milwaukee is proud to announce it has hired Meisha Bridges as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With this appointment, Bridges assumes a pivotal role in steering the financial and strategic operations of VISIT Milwaukee, a key player in Milwaukee's tourism industry. 

Bringing a wealth of experience, Bridges is poised to provide dynamic leadership in financial management, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. As CFO, she will collaborate closely with the executive team, the Board of Directors, and a range of external stakeholders to ensure VISIT Milwaukee's continued fiscal integrity and forward momentum. 

"After conducting a year-long search, we are confident that Meisha's accounting experience and knowledge will advance the vision of VISIT Milwaukee and our strategic goals," says Peggy Williams-Smith, President and CEO of VISIT Milwaukee. "Meisha is a proven leader with decades of experience, having delivered significant results with several large nonprofit organizations. I am certain she will continue that trajectory with VISIT Milwaukee."   

Prior to joining VISIT Milwaukee, Bridges most recently served as the controller at YWCA Southeastern Wisconsin, where she spearheaded financial and IT operations. Her track record of success includes leading impactful initiatives such as a payroll system conversion and bolstering investment portfolios. Bridges' professional background spans various industries, including roles at Robert Half, IBVI, Baker Tilly, Johnson Controls, and C&D Technologies.

In her capacity as CFO, Bridges will oversee all financial functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and payroll processing. Her strategic vision and operational acumen will play a pivotal role in driving VISIT Milwaukee's continued growth and success in the dynamic tourism landscape.
