TAMPA BAY RECEIVES ACCOLADES FROM TIME AND MONEY

Florida's Leading Destination Featured in TIME's 2023 World's Greatest Places and Money's Best Places to Travel

It's official! Visitors from across the globe have caught the Tampa Bay Effect. As the nation's fastest-growing destination, Tampa Bay claims spots on two new prestigious lists, TIME Magazine's 2023 World's Greatest Places and Money's Best Places to Travel

TIME highlights Florida's city du jour for taking full advantage of the waterfront and earning permanent status on travelers' lists of sunny, accessible escapes while Money states "Tampa has a population of under 400,000, but its amenities rival that of any major city - with a funky Florida flavor all its own. Whether you're a craft beer lover, a cigar aficionado, a foodie or a beach bum, Tampa's got you covered."

"The foundation of Tampa Bay's tourism industry is built upon a devoted community who is committed to the development and success of our destination. The economic impacts of each visitor are felt across the community and help over 51,000 people support their families and secure futures through tourism," says Santiago C. Corrada, President and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay. "By receiving these incredible recognitions, we are continuing to display Tampa Bay as a leading destination for all."

Tampa Bay was also named Best Place to Live in Florida by Forbes and was featured in USATODAY's 10Best, which included numerous attractions such as the Tampa Riverwalk, Busch GardensĀ® Tampa Bay, ZooTampa at Lowry Park and The Florida Aquarium. Through culture and diversity and its eclectic arts scene, Tampa Bay cultivates unique adventures by bringing people of all backgrounds for an experience that is authentically Tampa Bay.
