The city's skyline, long defined by Eero Saarinen's geometric marvel at the base of the riverfront, is being vibrantly transformed from street-level to skyline.

Pick your muse. Global foodies delight in the authentic and award-winning cuisines by more than a dozen James Beard nominated and winning chefs who regularly garner coverage in Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, Eatery and many other industry trade publications. Their cuisine provides affordable options for a multitude of tastebuds. Craft beer lovers sip on lagers and ciders brewed by more than 75 brewers that include everything from five-barrel nano-breweries to Anheuser-Busch, the largest seller of beer in the world -- all within miles of one another.  At the professional level, sports fans can cheer on the 11-time World Champion Baseball Cardinals, the St. Louis Blues, winner of the 2019 Stanley Cup, the St. Louis City SC and St. Louis Surge. There's plenty more: the country's only urban national park, a wacky and famed City Museum, the Grand Center Arts District, Forest Park, and enough outdoor recreation and adventure to captivate all who visit.

With a $240 million expansion and redesign called AC Next Gen, the America's Center Convention Complex will provide meeting attendees with an experience like no other. Scheduled for completion in early 2024, some of the highlights include:

  • An outdoor pavilion to serve the needs of convention attendees and improve the convention center district ambiance for residents and area workers as well.
  • A new 72,000 square foot exhibit hall, which changes the exhibit hall layout of the Complex, allowing the facility to host larger events
  • Double the current amount of loading docks and renovation of existing docks that will all be enclosed to enhance access and aesthetics of the building and surrounding areas.
  • Refurbishment of the central Washington Avenue entrance, which serves as St. Louis' front door for the hundreds of thousands of event attendees who visit the Complex.
  • The Dome will remain a flexible multi-purpose venue for meeting planners and other clients hosting large-scale events and activities.

Other current features of the complex include: its coveted GBAC STAR™ Facility Accreditation; StreamStage, a hybrid meeting solution with onsite and virtual viewing; and our expert onsite team and staff.
