Mary German is the Chief Operating Officer of the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau and Founder and Executive Director of the Travel & Sports Legacy Foundation.

German has implemented and driven successful results for 501c6 and 501c3 organizations. She was instrumental in the development of the Arlington Entertainment Area Management District (trolley service) and the Arlington Tourism Public Improvement District, and she led the development of the Travel & Sports Legacy Foundation.

She holds a bachelor's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) and Certified CoreClarity Facilitator. She completed the CNM Nonprofit Management Certificate Program in 2019. She is a graduate of the 2018 Leadership America program and the 2016 National Speakers Association North Texas Chapter Charbonneau Speakers Academy.
