GATEWAY CENTER CAMPUS PROMOTES DIANN JACKSON TO SENIOR CATERING SALES MANAGER

Jackson to Drive Networking, Relationship-Building & Sales for Proof of the Pudding Catering Team at Georgia International Convention Center (GICC)

The Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Diann Jackson to senior catering sales manager following eight years of dedication to the Gateway Center Campus . After nearly a decade of experience on the sales team, Jackson has continued to thrive in challenging settings and worked to help her team to achieve greatness.

"Diann's passion for her role, and the dedication she has shown to her team, have not gone unnoticed, and I am so pleased to see her continue forward in this new role," said Mercedes Miller, executive director ofthe Gateway Center Campus. "Diann has been an integral part of the evolution of the Gateway Center Campus since the pandemic. Working with integrity , strategic thinking and warm, genuine hospitality, she is the perfect person to work alongside our senior leaders as we position the facility for future growth."

Jackson studied at Georgia State University, Troup Technical College and Gordon College. After obtaining a degree in business administration, she honed her skills as senior sales manager for Levy Restaurants. Prior to her current tenure at GICC, she worked at the Georgia World Congress Center, serving as the senior catering manager for 26 years. For the last eight years, Jackson has been a key part of the Gateway Center Campus catering team, managing key accounts, developing catering sales plans for groups of up to 4,000 guests, developing creative proposals for events and maximizing revenue opportunities for the business.
