Visit Seattle welcomes Jessica Johnson as Director of Marketing.  In this role, Johnson will oversee Visit Seattle's marketing initiatives and work closely with stakeholders to identify market opportunities and execute marketing campaign strategies implemented to drive tourism. She will be responsible for promoting the destination and building brand awareness on behalf of the city, county, and region through creative, multi-channel campaigns with a focus on uplifting voices of historically disadvantaged neighborhoods and BIPOC communities.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jessica to our team as Director of Marketing for Visit Seattle," said Ali Daniels, Senior Vice President & CMO at Visit Seattle. "Her depth of experience and knowledge, along with passion for the tourism industry, is invaluable. She will be an integral part of promoting tourism on behalf of the city and will be an integral part of our team."

With more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, Johnson most recently served as the Director of Marketing + Business Development at Wild Gravity. She also helped launch Votiv, a Seattle-based label, artist management, and music publishing company. An expert at relationship management, much of Johnson's experience has been focused on music, cannabis, gaming, and consumer culture. She brings a wealth of strategic marketing expertise to her new role as Director of Marketing.

Johnson joins Visit Seattle as the organization continues to focus on tourism recovery by encouraging domestic and international visitors and amplifying all the things that make Seattle a must-visit, must-meet, must-see destination. She will work with Visit Seattle's creative agency and internal departments to develop and execute multi-channel meetings and convention business marketing by actively collaborating with the convention sales and services team, partners, and community partners.

Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business from Pennsylvania State University. Outside her professional life, you'll find her supporting Seattle's music venues by going to concerts as much as possible, searching for new ways to tire out her two dogs, and discovering secret beaches within the city limits.
