VIRGINIA BEACH CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU HIRES NEW SALES MANAGER


Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau , the official destination marketing organization (DMO) for Virginia Beach, Virginia, welcomed a new convention sales manager recently.

Dee Mittman of Greensboro, NC will be managing all multi-cultural associations, the corporate market, and the Midwest territory. Mittman is an experienced hospitality sales and marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry. A native of Greensboro, NC, Mittman got her start in the hospitality industry at the Wyndham Garden hotel, formerly the Clarion Hotel. During her tenure, she advanced from catering sales manager to eventually leading her team as Director of Sales for this full-service property.

Mittman's most recent place of employment was the Greensboro Convention and Visitors Bureau where she served as a National Sales Manager.  During her seven years at the CVB, Mittman successfully sourced meetings and events in the sports, corporate, and diversity association markets to be hosted in the City of Greensboro, NC.  Mittman is no stranger to the Sports Marketing side of the world either; she is a USA Track and Field Certified Official!
