THE NEW WESTIN ANAHEIM RESORT RECEIVES AAA’S CELEBRATED FOUR DIAMOND DESIGNATION

The newly opened Westin Anaheim Resort has received the coveted AAA Four Diamond® designation by the American Automobile Association. The prestigious honor reflects the resort's luxury hospitality, customer service, cleanliness and other qualities that meet the AAA rating.  Along with its Four Diamond® designation, The Westin Anaheim Resort also passed AAA's new Inspected Clean enhancement, which includes rigorous ATP Surface Testing to measure optimal cleanliness throughout the resort specific to high-touch areas and surfaces.

With the essence of the hotel's heritage and design rooted in Anaheim's citrus history, The Westin Anaheim Resort occupies eight lush acres and offers spacious, upscale guestrooms and suites; the brand's state-of-the-art signature WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio; flexible meeting and event spaces; a heated outdoor pool with five private cabanas; and seven distinct restaurants and bars including Anaheim's largest rooftop bar with standout, magical views.

"We are honored to receive the acclaimed Four Diamond designation and the new Inspected Clean enhancement from AAA and be recognized among the world's best," said Carmine Iommazzo, General Manager.  "The Westin Anaheim Resort aims to provide relaxation, escape and comfort for guests and this award reflects the commitment of our staff and management to deliver exceptional hospitality and create memorable guest experiences."

The Westin Anaheim Resort features 618 guest rooms including 121 expansive suites with signature well-being amenities, including the Westin Heavenly® beds and bath features, most of which offer direct views of Disney California Adventure® Park. Standout accommodations include the Park View Suites, with 785 square feet of space equipped with separate living and dining area and a spacious balcony, as well as the Presidential Suite, an impressive 2,000 square-foot suite with two bedrooms, walk-in closet, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, a living and dining room, and an oversized balcony stretching the length of the suite overlooking Disneyland® Resort.

The AAA Diamond Program comprises nearly 60,000 properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, including nearly 27,000 hotels and more than 30,000 restaurants. To be included in the AAA Diamond Program, properties must pass an unannounced, on-site evaluation. Properties must provide acceptable cleanliness, comfort and hospitality, and restaurants must meet requirements for cleanliness, food preparation and service.

Hotels and resorts at the Four Diamond level include just 6.5% of all the AAA Diamond lodgings, and are noted for their upscale style and amenities enhanced with the right touch of service.
