After a three-year hiatus, the National Professionals Network (NPN) is re-launching with a river cruise aboard the Queen of the Mississippi.    Rechristened as the National Professionals Network Enrichment Foundation (NPNEF), 30-year-old NPN is making a comeback with an eight-day, seven- night cruise, March 12-19, 2022.

Designed to be a cultural immersion, the cruise celebrates Black History, Music and Cuisine with an itinerary that begins with a complimentary overnight at the New Orleans InterContinental Hotel, visits Oak Alley, Baton Rouge and Vidalia in Louisiana, Natchez and Vicksburg in Mississippi, and ends with an overnight in Memphis.

Theo Moore II , Collections Manager/Educator of The Legacy Museum at Tuskegee University, has curated tours and developed lectures that explore the Black experience in the ports of call, but the emphasis will be on the emergence of the new, more progressive and innovative South.

Entertainment will be provided by Detroit-based Gwen and Charles Scales, an internationally known, award -winning duo that can keep an audience on its feet far into the night.

The Queen of the Mississippi is an authentic paddle wheeler that evokes an era when riverboat gamblers plied their trade from New Orleans to St. Louis.   Passengers on board will enjoy the comfort of staterooms that rank among the largest in river cruise ships, including commodious cabins for single passengers.  

The cruise fare includes many extras:  the overnight hotel in New Orleans, transportation to the ship, featured shore excursions, Wi-Fi, Breakfast Room Service, Wine and Beer with meals, Daily Cocktail Hour.

The cruise fares begin at $3,325 per person for a 230 sq. ft. Main Deck cabin with a Picture Window. (There are no inside cabins.) A 203 sq. ft. Single cabin begins at 4,195.  

There is a $1,000 per person discount in effect until July 30 ^th.
