FAYETTEVILLE AREA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU ADDS THREE TEAM MEMBERS


Isaiah Griffin is the new Sales Coordinator. In his position, he will work closely with the Sports and Convention Sales Directors to support their efforts to recruit sports and meetings business to Cumberland County. A Fayetteville transplant from Cincinnati Ohio, Isaiah has been in and out of the Fayetteville area since the mid-'80s, first as a dependent then as a service member. He is an Air Force veteran and a sports and music enthusiast. Isaiah is looking forward to recruiting diverse events to Fayetteville and Cumberland County.

Joie Schubert is a Visitor Information Counselor. In her position, Joie responds to requests for information, provides materials, sells souvenir items and utilizes public relations skills to enhance the overall visitor experience. Joie grew up in a military family and was stationed all over the United States and Germany. She moved to Fayetteville a few years ago to be closer to family.  Joie has extensive customer service experience and is committed to providing an excellent experience to everyone that walks through the doors of our Welcome Centers.

Jennifer Betshlimon is an Administrative Assistant.  In her position Jennifer provides management-level support to the President/Chief Executive Officer and Director of Operations and Human Resources, by performing tasks that include preparing reports, conducting research and collecting data. Jennifer has more than a decade of experience as an Administrative Assistant with a background in sales. In her most recent position, Jennifer worked for a corporate and criminal attorney where she assisted with data, reports, correspondence, handled appointments and provided customer service to clients. Throughout her career, she has handled contracts and has offered customer service to clients or customers.
