Rhonda Walker is a native Prince Georgian, with over 20 years of experience within the hospitality and hotel industry. She currently serves as the Interim Director of Sales & Marketing at Experience Prince George's, the county's Destination Marketing Organization promoting the counties hotels, meeting facilities, major attractions, dining and shopping to potential visitors, event professionals and our very own residents.

Rhonda strives to create memorable experiences and win-win opportunities for event professionals and lasting impressions for their attendees, which drives her passion for hospitality. Prior to her current role, Rhonda served as a Senior Sales Account Executive for Marriott Hotels & Resorts for 15 years and as a Meeting Planner for various non-profit organizations in the DC Metropolitan area prior to Marriott.

Rhonda is an active member of various industry organizations throughout the DC Capitol Region such as PCMA, MPI, AMPS, RHMP, SGMP and Black Chamber of Commerce where she enjoys networking and promoting Prince George's as a unique urban destination for tourism, conventions and special events.
