U.S. Embassy Speaker Kenneth H. Fearn To Address National Conclave Of Chambers Of Commerce In The Bahamas
On April 15-16, representatives from Chambers of Commerce organizations throughout The Bahamas will meet in a two-day national conclave at the Melia Resort on Cable Beach.  The goal of the annual conclave is for the leaders of The Bahamas' seven local Chambers of Commerce and the country's various trade associations to take stock of business and economic issues and make a plan for joint action going forward.  

 In support of the event, the U.S. Embassy's sponsored speaker, American businessman Kenneth Fearn will address the conclave on the topic, "A Path to Success - Investing in the Hotel Industry from Select Service to Luxury Properties." Mr. Fearn is the chairman of the National Association of Black Owners, Operators & Developers (NABHOOD) and the founder and managing partner of Integrated Capital LLC, a private equity real estate firm with a focus on hospitality.  Since its founding in 2004, the firm has acquired more than $450M in hospitality assets in primary and secondary markets across the United States that featured Residence Inn, Courtyard, Marriott, Doubletree, Sheraton, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn brands.  Fearn has been directly involved in over $1.5 billion of acquisitions and has secured more than $2.5 billion in debt financing.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.

 During the visit to Nassau and under the auspices of the Nicole Avant Foundation (former U.S. Ambassador to The Bahamas),Fearn will address hospitality and business students at the College of The Bahamas in an effort to advance educational opportunities between the United States and The Bahamas. Fearn will be accompanied by Andy Ingraham, president/CEO of NABHOOD.  Together the business executives will consult on investment opportunities between the United States and The Bahamas.
