Disney Hotels Honored With U.S. News & World Report "2014 Best Hotels" Awards

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts
has been honored with eight 2014 Best Hotels awards from U.S. News & World Report. The Disney properties, located in California, Florida and Hawaii, were all named Silver Badge Winners by the prestigious business magazine, ranking them among the best in their respective markets.

"We're especially thrilled that six of winning Disney properties were designed to cater to meetings and events," stated Anne Hamilton, vice president Resort Sales and Services, Disney Destinations. "These awards also recognize the extraordinary work and heart of our cast members who deliver the most innovative and creative meetings for our clients along with the great guest service Disney is known for."

Editors of U.S. News & World Report selected the award-winning properties based on a variety of criteria including guidebooks, travel websites, expert ratings and online guest reviews.

In California, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel earned the Silver Badge designation, as did Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Rounding out the list are six properties at the Walt Disney World Resort: Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Boardwalk Inn, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
