Harlem's famed Apollo Theater has long been known as
the place where many legendary artists strutted their stuff before sold out audiences, and where some of them even got their start in show business. The list of stars who have performed at the landmark theater reads like a who's who of music industry icons, from the likes Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Sammy Davis , Jr., Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight, to name a few, to today's crop of popular young recording artists like Pharrell and Justin Bieber. Few know that the Apollo is also a fabulous venue for meetings, conferences, weddings and a variety of unique and memorable events of every possible description. Apollo Programming
The Apollo Theater is internationally renowned for its contributions to American popular music. Since its opening in 1934, the Apollo has served as a launch pad for some of the most significant performers of our time. Today the theater continues provide support to working artists as well as unique performance and entertainment experiences to the public through its signature program Amateur Night and through a variety of new programs - including
Apollo Music Café, the

Salon Series - that support and showcase emerging artists and expand its reach nationally and internationally

Apollo Rentals
One of America's most iconic and enduring cultural landmarks, the Apollo Theater, in Harlem, New York City, is a one-of-a-kind setting for any production or event, offering two outstanding venues, supplemental spaces, and a host of customized services.
Mainstage Information
A complete renovation in 2005 restored the Apollo's Mainstage Auditorium to its storybook, turn‐of‐the‐century elegance. With over 1,500 seats, state‐of‐the art production capacities, and extensive roster of support services, the Apollo Mainstage is an ideal venue for concerts, theater productions, dance performances, television shoots, and more.

A living monument to the Harlem Renaissance, the Apollo Mainstage Auditorium boasts a Belle‐Époque crimson décor, spacious public areas, onstage seating for 300 and auditorium seating for over 1,500 with standing room. It offers a one‐of‐a‐kind ambience for special events ranging from fashion shows, product launches, and conferences, to weddings, graduations, and other receptions.
Soundstage Information
The Apollo's third-floor Soundstage is a 1,680-sq. ft., flexible space that features an intimate, lounge‐like performance setting with 200-225 seats and a bar/café. In its incarnation as the Apollo Music Café, the Soundstage It is an ideal venue for music performances, readings, listening parties, commercial shoots, press conferences, executive meetings, elegant receptions and more.

Audio System Upgrade
Late 2013, the audio system went through a total refurbishment. The Apollo Theater installed new d&b audiotechnik Main and Stage Monitor loudspeaker systems and two Midas PRO9 FOH & Monitor mixing consoles.
