Southern Californians Set To Discover The Palm Beaches With First-Ever Non-Stop Flight From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Flight Kicks Off With Low, Round-Trip Rates on Most Non-Holiday Dates Through February 2014 The Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is excited to welcome a new and important market of travelers from the West Coast with the announcement of the first-ever, non-stop, year-round daily flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) via American Airlines. Great introductory round-trip airfares from December 2013 to February 2014 give potential visitors an option to arrive in South Florida at a significantly lower cost than if flying into other area airports during the same time period. The new flight is estimated to bring 23,000 visitors and a total economic impact of $26 million each year. The new service began on Nov. 21, 2013, with Flight AA 2366 departing daily from LAX at 12:05 a.m. and arriving at PBI at 7:55 a.m. Returning flight AA 2357 departs daily from PBI at 8:50 a.m. and arrives at LAX at 11:50 a.m. American also launched a seasonal non-stop service between PBI and New York LaGuardia (LGA) on Nov. 21. All flights will be operated with American's Boeing 737 aircraft.
