The Montego Bay Convention Centre’s General Manager Dittie Guise was so confident in their Chef Randie Anderson that she jumped at the opportunity to sponsor him in the 2012 Taste of the Caribbean Culinary Competition. The event came to an end on Sunday June 24th, in grand style, the teams were fired up and anxiously awaited the judge’s final results. When the dust cleared, Chef Randie Anderson did it again, bringing home the gold for the Caribbean Ice Carver of the year and copped the Bronze medal for Chef of the year.

“The Montego Bay Convention Centre is proud of Chef Randie; the culinary art asks for a lot of innovative skills. A great chef must be able to use their creative skill to provide guests with a renewed dining experience. Creativity and continued innovative thinking is one of the most essential qualities of a great chef,” said Guise.
