Daytona Beach Area CVB's Presentation To Rejuvenate National Conference A Success

Rousing Presentation Promoted 2013 Conference in Daytona Beach

With the help of the Calvary Apostolic Church of Columbus, Ohio, the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau gave a rousing presentation to the 1,200 attendees at the closing banquet of the 2012 Rejuvenate Marketplace in Columbus, Ohio on October 24. The presentation encouraged those in attendance to make the trip to next year’s Rejuvenate Marketplace in Daytona Beach on Oct. 28-31, 2013.

“The opportunity to reach out to groups in other cities such as the Calvary Apostolic Church is a great example of the partnerships we will continue to seek out in order to promote our very special destination around the world,” says CVB President/CEO Jeffrey Hentz.

“We were thrilled by the crowd’s response to our presentation,” says CVB Director of Group Sales Linda McMahon. The Calvary Apostolic Church choir was amazing. They had the crowd on its feet.”
When the Daytona Beach area hosts Rejuvenate Marketplace on Oct. 28-31, 2013, attendance is expected to include 500 faith-based meeting planners and 1,000 hotel and industry suppliers. The conference will provide a positive economic impact of well more than $500,000 to the Daytona Beach area’s economy.

Representing the Daytona Beach Area CVB at this year’s Rejuvenate Marketplace were Hentz, McMahon and CVB Sales Manager Lynn Miles. Several Daytona Beach area hospitality partners were also in attendance including representatives from the Ocean Center convention complex, the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort, Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center, The Shores Resort & Spa and The Plaza Resort & Spa.
