In May,
Afro-Brazilian.com, a website dedicated to educating African-Americans on the richness and diversity of the Afro-Brazilian culture celebrated its first anniversary. Over the course of the next year, the website will celebrate its one year anniversary with quarterly online promotions with an estimated total value of $10,000.
Year-round promotions will encourage participants to share their stories and impressions of Brazil and its diverse culture. Visitors to Afro-Brazilian.com’s Facebook page will be able to subscribe to win the following prizes:
- Two round-trip tickets from American Airlines, Delta Airlines, or United Airlines to Brazil from the continental United States
- Gift cards from American Express, Visa or Mastercard
- A shopping spree at Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom or Walmart
