Whats New At Orlando Theme Parks?
Already famous for providing visitors of all ages with excitement and adventure at world-class theme parks, Orlando adds to the thrills in 2010 with new attractions and theme park lands. Visitors can also experience the heart pounding excitement of thrill rides at Universal Studios Florida’s new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit rollercoaster. This state of the art roller-coaster features audio and special effects that allows the rider to create a take home music video from their electrifying experience on the ride.

Coming soon, Universal’s Islands of Adventure will open the highly anticipated world of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Spring 2010. Guests will experience the magical world of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series as they dine on fare they have only experienced through the books and movies, shop at some of Harry Potter’s favorite establishments and ride attractions including: Dragon Challenge, a twin high-speed roller coaster; Flight of the Hippogriff, a family coaster; and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, an attraction bringing the world of Harry Potter to life using new and advanced technology.

Also, 2010 will be a big year for Walt Disney World theme parks, as they celebrate and reward volunteerism with the new “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” program, which offers guests who perform volunteer service with a participating organization a free one-day admission ticket to Walt Disney World Resort. Want to design your own thrill ride? Guests at Disney’s Epcot can do just that. Sum of All Thrills allows guests to design their very own roller coaster and then experience the ride in a simulator attached to a giant robotic arm, which gives the feeling of adrenaline pumping twists and turns. Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Water Park, will open a new high-speed tube ride, Omaka Rocka, in the spring.
