MGM Resorts International Supports Mission Of The Gay And Lesbian Community Center Of Southern Nevada's New Building With $000,000 Donation

will further support the mission of The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada (The Center) with a $200,000 donation for the construction of a new building. The donation contributes to the capital campaign for The Center’s new building that will provide increased space and new amenities including a dedicated clinic, café, library and computer lounge, outdoor plaza and meditation garden. Currently located near East Sahara Avenue and Market Street, The Center will construct its new building near South Maryland Parkway and Lewis Avenue. The new building is scheduled to open in 2012.

The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada is a community-based organization which supports and promotes activities directed at furthering the well-being, positive image, and human rights of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community, and its allies in Southern Nevada. MGM Resorts is a longstanding partner of the LGBT community. In addition to being an active supporter of The Center since 2002, the Company is a committed member of the Local and National chapters of the Human Rights Campaign, an advocacy organization for the LGBT community.
