Central Michel Richard Specializes In Making Special Occasions Memorable
From Welcome Brunches to Dessert Receptions, Central Offers Flexible Space,
Crowd-Pleasing Menus and Seamless Event-Planning Support

Central Michel Richard at Caesars Palace is emerging as THE destination of choice for celebratory gatherings of all varieties. Open 24 hours per day and specializing in serving memorable breakfasts/brunches, lunches, dinners, wine, beer and spirits — not to mention Chef Richard’s famous array of desserts — Central offers guests more options for intimate gatherings of 12 up to full buyouts for parties of more than 300.

Special Events Director Rebecca Gullixson devotes ample time to each client, discussing their vision with them and offering her expert suggestions as to how to make the most of their special day. In addition to crafting custom-designed menus showcasing Central’s famous American cuisine served with a French accent, Gullixson is happy to arrange the perfect floral arrangements and other décor as well as every other requirement, from audio-visual equipment to beautifully designed, souvenir-quality printed menus.

Central’s appealing spaces include an 80-seat garden terrace situated on Caesars Palace’s Roman Plaza fronting the Las Vegas Strip; an airy rotunda enclosed by windows and French doors allowing for plenty of natural light and an expansive, wraparound white onyx bar area overlooking Caesars Palace’s main hotel lobby. The end result? Guests have numerous settings and space configurations from which to choose.

“We can host everything from bridesmaids’ luncheons and rehearsal dinners before a wedding, to sit-down, multi-course dinners with wine-pairings for the reception,” says Gullixson. “Farewell brunches are also popular with today’s guests. Meanwhile, bite-size versions of some of our signature dishes — such as our 72-hour short ribs with syrah sauce, fried chicken or Michel’s chocolate bar with hazelnut sauce — are incredibly popular for passed-hors d’oeuvre and cocktail receptions.”

Special event menus range in price from $22 to $55+ per person for breakfast; from $30 to $55+ per person for a seated, prix fixe lunch or $45 to $125+ for dinner. Central also offers options for dessert or late night (beginning 11 p.m.), each priced at $30 to $125+ per person. Beverage packages range from $5 per person for unlimited water, coffee, tea and sodas. If the client desires, from Central’s sommelier, Rafael Garcia, exquisite wine pairings to accompany the menu to one of the restaurant’s mixologists, it is guaranteed to be a memorable experience.

Crafted to be not only delicious, but also — in Richard’s own word s — “unpretentious and fun,” the Central features all of the original Washington, D.C. restaurant’s signature dishes, plus a substantial number of new ones created especially for the Caesars Palace location. Executive Chef Todd Harrington and his team offer a variety of menus specially designed for group receptions and events, or will be happy to create a completely customized experience if a group so desires. Savory favorites from Richard’s existing repertoire include charcuterie and cheese selections, including his “faux” gras terrine, sandwiches including the popular lobster and beef burgers, appetizers such as the bacon and onion tart and cheese puffs (gougeres) and the flavorful goat cheese Caesar salad. Main courses include Richard’s famous fried chicken and smashed potatoes, delectable burgers (in beef, lobster, crab, meatball and chicken varieties), 72-hour short ribs with syrah sauce and rotisserie chicken accompanied by roasted potatoes. Central’s dessert menu is highlighted by delectable items such Michel’s cheesecake with raspberry sauce and signature chocolate bar.
