Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) And Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Showcase Social Catering

Following on the heels of the recent overall modernization of the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) and DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, the property has introduced a new state-of-the-art Social Catering concept to be featured at all upcoming corporate and social events.

Robert Hernandez, the property’s 25-year veteran director of Catering, working with Executive Chef Michael Meuse, has created a superb variety of appealing dishes ready to be assembled into customized catering packages for all types of events taking place at the MACC and the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

About the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC)

It is Miami’s second largest convention and exhibition facility with a total of 172,000 sq. ft. meeting space and has the ability to host over four hundred trade show booths. The MACC features state-of-the-art technology in executive level meeting facilities, and is able to host large special events in their new 29,000 sq. ft. Ballroom.

About the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

The 334-room hotel attached to the MACC, has undergone a major phase of renovations recently, including the addition of new guest elevators, the remodeling of the guest rooms with new vanities, the addition of 37” HD LCD TV’s and a new complimentary high speed internet system. Renovations also include a New Signature restaurant, Lounge and Lobby as well as all new public areas.
