New Ways To Hold Conferences At The InterContinental Miami

For 30 years the InterContinental Miami has been the preferred hotel for international business conferences in the heart of Downtown Miami, hosting more than 700 conferences yearly at its more than 101,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space. With Miami’s emergence as a global city, the hotel just completed a $30 million redesign with technology upgrades that are transforming the guest and meetings experience.

The hotel is using all its new media installations to support conferences and events, from running short films on 18 LCDs in the lobby, to changing the LED lighting scheme of the newly renovated Porte Cochere (valet) in support of a team or corporation, to creating personalized content on its two 19-story LED Digital Canvases that have forever changed Miami’s skyline and can that can be seen from miles away.

Upstairs all 641 guestrooms were renovated, marking the hospitality debut for Venus Williams’ interior design firm, V Starr Interiors, which redesigned the two Presidential Suites and enhanced the designs of six Executive Suites and the hotel’s 29th floor Club Lounge. Additional upgrades have also been made to the hotel’s corridors, elevator landings, meeting spaces and other common areas.

The hotel’s upgraded technologies and long-standing, multi-lingual staff make all the difference. For more information or to book your meeting at the InterContinental Miami, call (800) 496-7621 or visit www.intercontinental.com.
