DIRECTOR OF MARKETING FOR MEETINGS & EVENTS REINA HERSCHDORFER NAMED ONE OF PR NEWS' TOP WOMEN IN PR

The prestigious award recognizes female industry leaders who have made bold advances in managing crisis, developing brand messages, protecting and building brand reputation and creating content for digital platforms. All winners were judged on the strength of communications campaigns they've led in the last 18 months and on the positive influence they've had on their teams and peers.

As Director of Marketing, National Meetings & Events at Caesars Entertainment, Herschdorfer is responsible for the marketing strategy for the $400 million dollar Meetings Business for Caesars Entertainment and is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of international meetings and hospitality experience. She has held leadership roles within Caesars Entertainment for over 15 years at various properties, including Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Caesars Palace, Paris and Bally's. Prior to Caesars, Herschdorfer was the Vice President of Sales & Distribution for Accor Hotels in the Netherlands, launched Disneyland Paris as Director of Convention Services, was Sales Manager at Intercontinental Hotel in Houston, Texas and more.

Caesars Entertainment properties in Atlantic City have tripled in business solely because of meetings and conventions. Large corporations have chosen to hold their meetings at the Waterfront Conference Center because of the marketing and PR efforts Herschdorfer has led. Herschdorfer is also a leader for Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID), which brings together leaders from across six continents and showcases the real impact that business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions have on people, business and communities.  

Herschdorfer speaks five languages and has worked in five countries, originally hailing from the Netherlands. She has lived with her family in Vegas for over 15 years.
