Visit Oakland Releases Updated 2015 Visitors Guide

Available Now in Print and Online

Visit Oakland is excited to announce the arrival of the 2015 Official Oakland Visitors Guide with a brand-new design, debut of a official visitor map, and an interactive digital guide through the Visit Oakland website.

The Visitors Guide is an annual publication highlighting the best things to see and do in Oakland, CA.  It is the premier tourism-marketing piece for Oakland and the first resource that more than 2.5 million visitors will use when planning their trip.

The guide’s format is article and content-driven to emphasis the unique character of each Oakland neighborhood in an easy-to-use format. The digital guide adds an interactive feature of clickable links and images to direct visitors to business websites and related information straight from the guide.

Over 75 thousand copies are distributed throughout the Bay Area including at all major airports, neighboring tourism bureaus, Oakland hotels, and Oakland attractions. The complimentary visitors guide may be requested online, by phone at (510) 839-9000 or in-person at the Visit Oakland Visitor Center located at 481 Water Street in Jack London Square.

The GoGuide®, an interactive online version of the Oakland Visitors Guide, is available on http://visitoakland.org/official-visitor-guide/ and on the new portable kiosk with a 22” interactive monitor located in the Visitor Center.
