The Receptive Services Association of America (RSAA)  has engaged Lisa Simon to serve as its Interim Executive Director. RSAA recently announced that Jane Rossmango would be leading the association given the departure of RSAA executive director Matt Grayson. Unfortunately, Rossmango had to relinquish her position due to unforeseen circumstances, and RSAA will launch a new executive search.

In the meantime, Chairman Jonathan Zuk announced that in coordination with RSAA's management firm, Associations International, the Board of Directors has engaged Lisa Simon, of The Simon Connection, LLC to serve as RSAA's interim executive director to guide the association through its annual Summit and the executive search in early 2016.

Simon was the president of NTA for many years and has 30 years of combined experience in travel and association management. "Lisa understands our business and she has a wealth of experience in the broader travel and tourism industry," said Zuk. "We are delighted that she's joining our team at a time when RSAA is making significant changes to leverage our expertise, experience and connections to make the international inbound business stronger."

During her tenure with NTA, Simon expanded NTA's international presence, including working with the U.S. Department of Commerce and the China National Tourism Administration to open the U.S. as a preferred destination for Chinese travelers. She has spoken on global and domestic travel throughout the United States, and specifically on the American market around the world.
