BCA 8th Annual Global Food And Wine Experience Set For November 18th

The Black Culinary Alliance (BCA) will celebrate its 8th annual Global Food and Wine Experience scheduled to take place at the magnificent Guastavino's, located at 409 East 59th Street (underneath the 59th Street Bridge) in New York City on Friday, November 18th from 7 PM to 10:30 PM. During this event, over 50 chefs, wine and spirit merchants, and hundreds of food connoisseurs will join together to create a platform for extraordinary culinary exploration. As part of the event's unique experience, more than 50 culinary students will be working side by side with New York's premier industry professionals as they prepare and unveil the latest trends in food and wine.

The event highlights will include a culinary sampling from select restaurants paired with winemakers, distributors and outlets from around the world as well as fine restaurants displaying gourmet tastings. This event is not only a fantastic experience for the guests in attendance, but a wonderful opportunity for culinary students to get hands-on experience and exposure working in an up-scale, professional atmosphere alongside professionals that they aspire to become.

In addition, the event will celebrate the remarkable lifetime accomplishments of David Gonzalez, district manager of Pernod Ricard USA. Throughout his career, Gonzalez has worked to promote both excellence and diversity within the food and beverage industries. "David is a valuable employee that takes pride in his work every single day. We are so pleased BCA is recognizing and honoring David for his efforts to the hospitality and culinary fields" states Katie Moore, senior manager, Metro NY State-Pernod Ricard USA.
