Over 160 destination marketing professionals from all over the state of Texas will meet in Lewisville, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas, January 17-20, 2011 for the Mid-Winter Educational Conference of the Texas Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (TACVB). The Mid-Winter Conference’s major focus will be on educational tracks for Convention & Visitors Bureau in: Administration, Group Sales, Group Servicing, Tourism Sales, Communications/ Technology, as well as Marketing and Visitor Services.

Now the largest statewide organization of Convention and Visitors Bureau professionals in the world, TACVB was organized in July 1972 for the purpose of providing cooperative action to enhance and encourage the growth of the convention and visitor industry throughout Texas.
