Plan A Valentine's Weekend Escape Or Date Night In Costa Mesa With Various Special Dining Menus And Packages, Costa Mesa Is a Romantiic Getaway


OC's Costa Mesa has put together some great weekend deals to celebrate a romantic Valentine's Day. Beginning Friday, February 10, hotel packages are available, some including in-room breakfast, complimentary parking, as well as champagne and chocolates delivered to your room upon arrival. To top it off, special dinner menus have been created and are being offered during the weekend through Valentine's Day. Just a short drive from Los Angeles and San Diego, couples looking for a romantic Southern California escape can find it in Costa Mesa.

ENTERTAINMENT
To make the weekend even more memorable, Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Grammy-winning and legendary vocalist Michael Bolton performing with the Pacific Symphony on February 10 and 11 and actress, producer and Broadway star Rita Wilson will be joined on stage by talented songwriters Billy Steinberg (Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors"), Holly Knight (Pat Benetar's "Love Is a Battlefield") and Desmond Child (Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer") for an intimate evening performing and sharing the stories behind their music on February 10 at the Samueli Theater.



HOTEL AND RESTAURANT OFFERS
Le Chateau Garden Bistro, located at Ayres Hotel & Suites, is offering a full à la carte or prix fixe dinner menu, including a signature lobster bisque, petite filet and prawns or Atlantic salmon, plus chocolate lava or a heart-shaped red velvet cake. This dinner menu is available from 5 to 10 p.m. for $47 per person beginning Feb. 10 through Tuesday, February 14.

Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar at Avenue of the Arts – a Tribute Portfolio Hotel will offer a four-course prix fixe menu including baked brie; a pink cauliflower soup or heirloom salad, followed by a selection of entrees like a 10 oz. lobster tail, New York prime steak or wild mushroom risotto; and chocolate beignets for dessert. A complimentary champagne toast is also included for $75 per person on Friday, February 10 and Saturday February 11 from 5 to 10 p.m. Reservations can be made through Opentable. Costa Mesa's award-winning chefs at the hottest restaurants in SoCal are ready to welcome couples for Valentine's Day. 

SPECIAL VALENTINE'S MENUS
Habana at The LAB Enjoy one of Open Tables' top 100 best al fresco dining spots in the U.S. Habana offers a decadent Valentine's Day menu and entertainment with special dishes like grilled filet mignon with Dungeness crab Béarnaise. Available February 11 to 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. Make reservations by calling (714) 556-0176.

Bistro Papillote Located at SoCo and The OC Mix, experience a hands-on cooking class and chocolate dinner at Bistro Papillote. Prepare pepper-crusted filet mignon and chocolate port wine sauce, fig and Stilton salad with port vinaigrette, potatoes sautéed in duck fat and a flourless chocolate torte for dessert. The price is $225 per couple and includes one bottle of Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine. The cooking class begins at 6:00 p.m. February 14 with the sit-down dinner to follow. Vaca offers a full menu created by Bravo's "Top Chef" Season 13 runner-up Amar Santana. In addition, a special Valentine's Day menu will include seafood-stuffed squid ink canelon, plus Vaca's rum raisin ice cream with peanut chocolate crunch and caramel peanuts for dessert.
