HARRAH’S AND HARVEYS LAKE TAHOE THE BEST KEEP GETTING BETTER

Combining a special blend of luxury, beauty, great guest service and casino entertainment, Harrah's Lake Tahoe maintains a long tradition as one of the highest rated casino hotels in the country. With the acquisition of Harveys Lake Tahoe Resort Casino in July 2001, the combined casino hotel operation is now the biggest, best and most popular casino-resort at Lake Tahoe.

Owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Harrah's and Harveys are located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, North America's largest alpine lake, central to unequaled year-round beauty and America's largest concentration of ski resorts, including Heavenly Mountain Resort and Squaw Valley USA.

Ever since the opening of the first hotel tower in 1973 (the casino first opened in 1955), Harrah's has offered the best in amenities and guest service. This dedication to excellence has earned Harrah's Lake Tahoe many of the hotel industry's most prestigious honors and set the standards by which other hotel/casinos are measured. Regional President John Koster attributes these awards to the commitment to guest service from nearly 2,400 Harrah's and Harveys employees. "Harrah's and Harveys are the places to be at Lake Tahoe," Koster says. "Harrah's enjoys a long tradition of having the best employees in the business to serve our guests and visitors.

What better way to enjoy Lake Tahoe than to stay and play at our two great casinos with the finest hotels, service and amenities."

A timeless creation, Harrah's 18-story, 512-room hotel, which includes a recently added floor of luxury suites, reflects the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe, its sculptured, forest-colored exterior blending with the surrounding mountain peaks.

Inside the main hotel entrance, the recently remodeled lobby is finished with soft tones and marble floors throughout. Just off the hotel lobby Harrah's features a recently upgraded gift & sundry shop, Starbucks, a sporting goods outlet and other retail businesses.

Every guestroom in this award-winning hotel has been designed with the ultimate in comfort in mind. Each standard guest room is deluxe-sized with two complete bathrooms (each with its own television and telephone), a king or two double beds, and remote control television with movies on command. Wi-Fi is also available in every room. Rooms also feature data ports and wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel. Double soundproofed walls and special blackout curtains assure a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, while angled windows provide a spectacular view of both the Lake and mountains. Seventy percent of the hotel rooms are designated "non-smoking." A complete remodel of every guest room will be completed in spring, 2016.

Harrah's 16th and 17th floor Summit Suites feature custom marble floor and intricate wainscots; some have sleek wood flooring imported from Italy and contemporary wool rugs. All have custom build-ins, rain shower heads, specialty mirrors with integrated televisions in each bathroom. To name a couple, the WOW suite is sexy, and stimulating; it will reach out to all your senses. With its lavish color palette featuring shades of bright fuchsia, fresh whites and deep chocolates, and not to mention the red glass chandelier imported from Venice, this is something certainly to say "wow" about! Also featured are two Sports suites. Each is contemporary in style, yet casual and sophisticated. Both are equipped with billiard tables, state of the art surround sound systems and sleek light and dark wood floors throughout. The Summit Suites include butler service and are all about surrounding yourself with luxury and top of the line technology.
