Hurricane Relief Efforts Mount For Islands Of The Bahamas

In the wake of Hurricane Joaquin, individuals and organizations are stepping forward to send much needed aid and assistance to victims of the storm.  One such organization - Dreams and Visions International (DVI) - is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1997 in the State of Florida by Bahamian natives Linville and Stephanie Johnson. The founders created Dreams and Visions to assist underprivileged children in their transition from childhood to young men and young women through a variety of developmental and mentoring programs.  According to Mr. Johnson, interested parties should visit www.dreamsandvisionsinternational.org to get started.  "To donate, go to the website, and click on donate button.  This would benefit the Children in the Bahamas who were affected by the recent Hurricane," explains Johnson, who also serves at the director of Business Development for the African-American Market for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.
