Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) recently hosted its annual ALHI Showcase in Chicago for meeting professionals, business executives, and incentive specialists, at which ALHI and its clients raised nearly $10,000 for the event’s designated charity, Kids Off The Block, Inc. of Chicago. ALHI’s sales team in its Chicago Global Sales Office is pictured here presenting the check for $9,655 to Kids Off The Block Founder Diane Latiker (second from left). Kids Off The Block is a non-profit organization in Chicago’s South Side community of Roseland with the mission “To provide at-risk low income youth positive alternatives to gangs, truancy, violence, and the juvenile justice system.” Kids Off The Block provides structured programs and events for youth, which includes tutoring, mentoring, drama, music, sports, community service, cultural arts, and job readiness. Diane Latiker was named one of the Top 10 CNN “Heroes of the Year” in 2011.
